The EL3041 is Everlight’s equivalent of the popular MOC3041 zero-cross optotriac driver IC, designed for safe and reliable AC load switching. It uses an infrared LED input optically coupled to a triac output, providing excellent electrical isolation between low-voltage control circuits and high-voltage AC lines.

With its zero-cross detection feature, the EL3041 turns on the load only when the AC waveform crosses zero voltage, significantly reducing electrical noise (EMI) and increasing triac and load life. This makes it ideal for on/off AC control applications where phase control is not required.
