This is a replaceable soldering iron tip designed for use with the following Goot soldering irons and stations:

Replacement Instructions:

1. Unscrew the barrel nut.

2. Remove the heater collar.

3. Replace the existing soldering tip.

4. Note: The stainless-steel collar inside the tip may stick to the heater. Always remove the collar from the heater before installing a new tip. To prevent sticking and potential damage, periodically detach and reattach the iron tip.

Important Notes:

• Avoid cleaning the tip with abrasive pads or files.

• Oxidation reduces thermal conductivity; clean using a damp cellulose sponge.

• If oxidation persists, use Goot BS-2 Tip Refresher for proper cleaning.
